Fueling Performance for the 2017 Honda Fit
The 2017 Honda Fit gets its power from a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 130 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. All trims have an available CVT, however the LX and EX models come standard with a six speed manual transmission. As you probably expect, front-wheel drive is standard across the board.
In its base configuration with the manual transmission, the EPA expects the 2017 Fit to return *29 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. With the CVT, those numbers bump to 32 mpg city and 37 mpg highway. The most efficient of the bunch is the base LX model, which is rated for 33 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway.
