2018 Honda Fit Engine Specs

The 2018 Honda Fit comes standard with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that reaches 130 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. This engine can be coupled with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The 6-speed manual transmission offers precision-shift action, low internal friction and close-ratio gears to help improve acceleration. This transmission comes standard on LX, Sport and EX trims. On the EX-L trim, a CVT with paddle shifters comes standard, giving you more control and fun on your drive.

2018 Honda Fit Technology

The Fit has a number of technology features that help to enhance the vehicle’s overall performance. Honda LaneWatch™* displays live video on your Display Audio screen to reveal nearly four times more than the passenger-side mirror can show you whenever you signal right.

The Honda Sensing®** suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies is meant to alert you to things you might miss while driving. The suite is made up of:

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System™, which helps brake the vehicle when it senses an otherwise unavoidable collision with a vehicle detected in front of you.
  • Road Departure Mitigation System, which uses a small camera to see road markers and alert you if you’re about to leave the road.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control, which helps you maintain a set following distance on the highway so that you don’t have to manually change your speed.
  • Lane Keeping Assist System, which adjusts your steering to help bring you back to the center of the lane when your vehicle drifts without signaling.

The 2018 Honda Fit is available now at Rossi Honda. Browse our inventory and set up a test drive online today!

*Display accuracy will vary based on weather, size of object and speed, and the display may not show all relevant traffic. The display is not a substitute for your own direct visual assessment of traffic conditions before changing lanes.
